KRM-Templeton Cooperation in Analytic Theology
[19/04/2010, Dubai] Dr Aref Nayed, Director of KRM, met with Professor Michael Murray, who is the Vice President for Philosophy and Theology at the prestigious John Templeton Foundation. The meeting was held in Dubai and it was a follow up on their first meeting last year in Istanbul. Both organisations agreed to cooperate in the field of Analytic Theology and also in other academic projects. Recently, Dr Nayed was also commissioned by the John Templeton Foundation to contribute an essay on the question "Does moral action depend on reasoning?" as part of their Big Questions Series. Other contributors include leading thinkers such as Professor Stanley Fish, Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, Alfred Mele, Jean Bethke Elshtain, Antonio Damasio, Joshua D. Greene, Christine M. Korsgaard, John F. Kihlstrom, and Jonah Lehrer. The full set of essays can be read here.
